Anglas C. Davis was born September 19,1952 to the late Anglas and Aline Davis. Anglas was the youngest of six siblings.

Anglas was a graduate of Sterling High School in Baytown and later a Lee College graduate. He attended The University of Houston until he had a call on his life to attend seminary school and acquired a Masters in Christian Counseling at Cornerstone Seminary. Anglas worked 41 years at DuPont de Nemours, Inc. where he led a global team as a quality control specialist.

Anglas married Anna M. Etienne May 25, 1974 and shared 49 years together. To this union, two daughters were born, Angela and A'Rynn.

Anglas became an ordained a deacon in 1991 and later a licensed and ordained minister in 1993 under the ministry of his oldest brother, Pastor Frank Davis. In 1996, Anglas and his family joined Mt. Corinth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of A. Louis Patterson, Jr. and remained under the leadership and ministry of Alan Lamar Patterson, the current pastor.

Anglas leaves behind to cherish his life lived on this earth, his wife, Anna Davis, two daughters, Angela Collier (Brandon), A'Rynn Valcin (Mariot), and four grandchildren: Brenae Collier, Braden Collier, Kai Valcin, and Karissa Valcin.

Also, left to cherish the life he led are his siblings: Pastor Frank Davis (Shirley), Jean Simon (Kenneth), Deacon Clarence Davis (Shirley), Deacon Paul Davis (Jean), and Deacon Freddie Davis (Laura). Anglas loved his two guardian daughters, Tamarrah Henderson and Asiah Henderson.

There are a host of relatives, friends, and coworkers that Anglas' life touched and will also cherish the spirit in which he lived this life on earth.

As part of Anglas' legacy, this simple yet profound prayer was uttered by Anglas and recorded by his wife on January 5, 2020: "Dear Father, thank you for this life, and thank you for the courage to live this life.
" Amen."
