Mrs. Ardis DeBose Bundage passed away at 94-years-old on Wednesday, September 2 ^nd in Baytown, Texas. Originally from Navasota, Texas, she married Oliver Bundage in 1944 and moved to Baytown in 1945 where she lived the entirety of her life. Mrs. Bundage was a dedicated member of Thompson Chapel C.M.E. Church in Baytown for over 70 years and was loved by her church family. She worked until retirement as a member of the custodial staff at Stephen F. Austin Elementary in Baytown where she was treasured by co-workers, students, and faculty alike.

Mrs. Bundage was preceded in death by her husband Oliver Bundage, Sr. and her son Michael Bundage. She is survived by her children: Vivian Bundage Lawson, Rosemerry Bundage Hudson, Oliver Bundage, Jr., Barbara Bundage Veasley, Cora Bundage Lawrence, and Debra Bundage Holmes. She is the proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
