Mrs. Aurora Quemerista Robinson, age 81, passed away at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown,Texas on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Aurora Quemerista Robinson was an amazing mother, kind hearted and all around good person.  Born on July 1, 1943 in Uacon Canderlaria Zambales, Philippines to Vicente Quemerista and Carmen Castaneda.  Aurora met Simmie L. Robinson in the Philippines in 1968 and the two were married on February 23, 1974.  To this union two beautiful daughters were born, Demechel and Alfreda Robinson.  Upon returning to the states, Aurora received her secondary education at the Shreveport-Bossier Vocational-Technical Institute in Shreveport, Louisiana (Class of 1981).

Aurora was a Baytown resident for over 42 years.  She worked at Flexitallic for 13 years as a gasket assembly operator.  She really enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Casinos.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, a cherished friend and neighbor with a kind and caring spirit.

Aurora is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Carmen; husband of 45 years, Simmie Louis Robinson; brothers: Armando Quemerista and Antonio Quemerista; and sisters: Catalina Quemerista and Enriquita "Aida" Burchfield.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughters: Ledemsa Tanhueco and Marylyn Perucho of Quezon City Manila, Philippines, Demechel Robinson and Alfreda Robinson of Baytown; grandson: Darius (Ebony) Robinson of Davenport, Florida: granddaughters; Bryanna and Caeleigh Robinson of Baytown; and great granddaughter Emiyah Robinson of Davenport, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved family members as well as friends who loved her dearly.
