Mr. Charlie Taylor was born on December 29, 1918 to the late Mr. Alfred Taylor and Mrs. Rachel Smith Taylor in Cedar Bayou, Texas where he completed his education at Victoria Walker and Carver schools.

He is preceded in his passing by his beloved wife, Laura Eagleton Taylor, his only son, Charles Edward Taylor, his parents Alfred and Rachel Taylor, brothers Edward Taylor, W.M. Taylor and W.L. Taylor.

He is survived by his only grandchild, Rachael Taylor Johnson, two-great-granddaughters (Taylore and Trystan) and one great-great granddaughter (Clarke Monroe Hill); one sister, Rena (Tutta) Taylor Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
