Cheri Michelle Lawson was born to Melvin R. Lawson and Vivian Bundage Lawson on September 16, 1966 in Tachikawa Tokoyo, Japan.  She departed this earthly life on Friday, December 24, 2021 after a battle with diabetes and heart disease.

She received Christ under the leadership of Rev. Donald Hewett at Thompson Chapel CME Church in Baytown, TX.

In 1985, Cheri graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, where she was an active member in various student clubs and organizations.  Upon graduation, she attended college.  She later bore one child, her pride and joy, Angelica Lawson.  Cheri devoted her life to being am amazing devout mother and grandmother to three grandchildren.  Cheri held many customer service positions before retiring from Comcast after 15 years, and becoming a full time grandma.

Everyone who knew Cheri loved her.  Her smile was contagious, and her laughter was infectious.

She leaves family and friends to cherish her memory.
