Collins’s journey was marked by deep dedication to his family, steadfast service to his country, and a vibrant passion for life’s simple pleasures.
Collins Victorinus Albert, a beloved son, friend, and respected colleague, passed away on June 17, 2026, in League City, Texas, at the age of 59. Born on November 2, 1966, in St. Lucia, Collins’s journey was marked by deep dedication to his family, steadfast service to his country, and a vibrant passion for life’s simple pleasures.
Collins was the cherished son of Emilia Albert, who survives him. He is also remembered with love by Maryann Albert, Liryle Augustin, Macedonius Regis, Vexcilla Albert, and Muriel Albert, Nieces, nephews, and relatives, and friends. Each of whom held a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Albert, and his sister, Vernessa Crawford, whose memories remained close to him throughout his life.
Having obtained his formal education in St. Lucia, Collins excelled early on, graduating from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Training School in 1990 before returning to Seabrook, Texas. His commitment to public service led him to a distinguished period in the United States Navy. Serving from October 11, 1991, to October 10, 1997, Collins was honorably discharged after six years of exemplary military service. He was awarded several medals in recognition of his dedication and valor, including the Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with bronze star, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
After his time in the Navy, Collins pursued a rewarding career, dedicating many years as Chief Engineer with Otto Candies. His skills and diligence earned him the respect of his colleagues and contributed to a legacy of professionalism and leadership in his field.
Beyond his work and service, Collins embraced life with enthusiasm. A true lover of the outdoors, he found great joy in fishing, often considering a lively gathering with friends and family the only pastime better than casting a line. Those who knew him best recall his fondness for sharing good meals and drinks with loved ones—the laughter and storytelling, the warmth that filled every room he entered. For Collins, the most treasured moments were always those spent in the company of family and friends, cherishing the bonds that enriched his days.
