Dameon Lloyd Sims was born on February 20, 1963 in Ville Platte, Louisana to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie and Mary-Lou Sims.  He accepted the Lord as his Savior and frequented Mount Olive Baptist Church in Baytown and Mount Rose.

Dameon graduated from Sterling High School , and later was technically trained as an Industrial Electrician.  His entrepreneurial spirit led him to create multiple business opportunities.  Which included a car detailing service "A Touch of Style."  He had future plans of opening a convenience store called the Whistle Stop in 2022.

Sadly, on November 23, 2021, Dameon L. Sims was called home to be with the Lord.  He will always be remembered as a Joyful, Loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Cousin, Uncle and Friend.  He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with those closest to him.  He delighted in every moment during his time here on earth.  He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter Samantha Sims; grandson Jorden Sims; granddaughter Alana Sims; brother Wade Sims; brother Dowen Sims; sister Margo Fontenelle-Sims; an uncle, many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
