Floyd Donald Doucette was born on September 29, 1933, to parents Birdia (Goudeau) Doucette and Clay Doucette, he was the only child.
Floyd was a resident of McNair, Texas where he and his wife Gracie (Morgan) Doucette raised their six children. Ronald Doucette (Jamie), Byron Doucette (deceased), Renita Magee (Jerry), Andreia Doucette, Aleta Doucette, and Dorian Doucette (deceased). He has 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
Floyd enlisted into the US Airforce February 4, 1954, until 1964. He later worked at Armco Steel for 20 years followed by US Postal Service for 10 years.
Floyd was a family man and spent his years always putting his family first by providing them with the love, support, and skills needed to succeed in life. He will be remembered as a man of many words, but every story was vibrant and had valuable purpose.
