Jewell Edmond was born on December 4, 1951 to J.D. and Viola Maxey. She spent her formative years in McNair, Texas where she attended Harlem Elementary. She later graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School. She married Willie Ellis and was blessed with two children Willie Jr. and Danielle. She later married the love of her life Clinton Edmond. Clinton and Jewell were faithful members of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where they worked in multiple organizations.

The chapter of her earthly life came to a close to make room for her Heavenly life to begin on January 19, 2021. Jewell was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all who will cherish her memories.

Jewell is survived by her Husband C.J., Brother Eddie Maxey (Cory, Cshala, Eddie jr), Sister Ola (LaChe) and Mary (Jamall); Children Willie Jr. (son Drew Zimmerman); Danielle (Children: Christopher, Shaylyn , Jeremiah, Isaiah ). Also a host of nieces, nephews, friends and adopted family.
