Obituary

Leroy Marchan was a hardworking and devoted man whose life reflected the strength, resilience, and deep family values rooted in his Caribbean heritage, particularly a love for steelpan music that connected him to his culture and brought joy to those around him. Born in Siparia, Trinidad, he carried with him a strong sense of pride, community, and perseverance that guided him throughout his life. In search of opportunity, he migrated first to St. Croix and later made Houston, Texas his home in 1976, where he continued to build a life defined by dedication and sacrifice.

Like many Caribbean men of his generation, Leroy believed in hard work, responsibility, and providing for his family. He was a steady and dependable presence — a man who showed love through his actions, his commitment, and his unwavering support. Family was his foundation, and he took great pride in the legacy he built for those he loved.

Leroy will be remembered for his quiet strength, his determination, and the warmth of his spirit. His journey from Trinidad to Texas reflects a life lived with purpose, courage, and faith, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy that will continue through generations.
