Marian DrenonOn April 19, 1947, a beautiful life began when Marian Williams was born to the late Robert and Clautiel Williams. One of six children, Marian grew up surrounded by family, developing the strength, vibrant personality, and unmistakable spark that would remain with her throughout her life. On Monday, August 10, 2026, Marian peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.Marian received her education in the Temple Independent School District. She was blessed with four children, who became the foundation of a family legacy that would continue to grow and flourish for generations.As life unfolded, Marian made her home in Baytown, Texas, where she built an impressive career at Solvay Chemicals through Mundy Industrial Services. She worked faithfully for 20 years, serving as a Logistics Manager. Her dedication and longevity were a reflection of the strong work ethic, determination, and commitment she carried throughout her life.During this chapter of her life, Marian met Muriel Lee Drenon. Their meeting blossomed into love, companionship, and marriage. Together, Marian and Muriel shared 49 years, building a life filled with family, treasured memories, laughter, and enduring love.On August 18, 2013, Marian united with First Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie R. Lewis.Marian was truly one of a kind. Her personality could fill a room, and she had a way with words that was uniquely her own. Her quick comebacks could catch you completely off guard and, just as quickly, leave everyone around her laughing. There was rarely a moment when Marian was without something to say—and chances were, whatever she said would be something you remembered. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and treasured spending time with the people she loved.Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Clautiel Williams; her brothers, Curtis Williams and Charles Williams; her sister, Jeanie “Jap” Smith.She leaves to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories her devoted husband, Muriel Lee Drenon; her children, Desi (Arlunda) Jackson, Brittanue Jackson (Gilbert) Arocha, Eric (Norma) Jackson, and Verlon Lynn Jackson; bonus children, Sharon (James) Robinson, Lee Brent (Cassandra) Drenon, Kimberly Drenon, Valda (Vincent) Farmer, and Wayne Ellis (deceased) and Keane Ellis; grandchildren, Darius Jackson, Braylon (Brianna) Jackson, Jaylynn Mitchell, and Camron Mitchell; bonus grandchildren, Trey Narcisse and Erica Smith; great-grandchildren, Kolton Jackson and Xalia Mitchell; her sisters, Robert White and Claudia Boykins; brother-in-law, Good ary Smith; along with her bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.Marian’s life cannot simply be measured by the number of years she lived, but by the lives she touched, the laughter she created, the family she loved, and the memories she leaves behind. Her quick wit, unforgettable personality, strength, and love will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.There was only one Marian, and there will never be another.
