Monica Marie O'Neil was born on December 31, 1967 and gained her wings on March 3, 2021.  She was baptized at Washington Baptist Church as a youth and attended Robert E. Lee High School.  She was employed with Galena Park ISD for 15 years which she was extremely proud of.  She was best known for being a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and an awesome mother.

She was preceded in death by her mother Loretta Ward and stepson, Quinton Jones.  Monica leaves behind to cherish her memory; her father Billy Roy Madkins, her husband Edward O'Neil, her children and stepchildren: Brittney Carr (Darius), Jonathan Burris (Trezlyn), Quenshala Johnson, Ashley O'Neil, Tamika Jones and Patricia O'Neil.  She also leaves behind nine siblings, six biological grandchildren, fourteen grandchildren by marriage and a host of nieces and nephews.
