Murphy Arvie, 61, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2025, due to heart complications. Born on August 26,1963 in Anahuac, Texas. Murphy lived a life of resilience, faith, and unwavering love for his family.
A proud veteran, Murphy honorably served in the U.S. Army, demonstrating his deep commitment to his country. He later dedicated his career to Clean Harbors, where he worked diligently for many years.
Murphy was a fighter in every sense of the word. In June 2024, he triumphed over cancer, a testament to his strength and determination. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy and community as a devoted member of the choir at Hillside Church.
Above all, Murphy cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved children, Epiphany (Timothy Buford), Elizabeth, Ebony, and Matthew; and his adored grandchildren; Jacqueline and Seraphina. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle, touching the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Murphy's legacy of love, service, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His voice will forever echo in the songs he sang, the lessons he imparted, and the love he shared.
A celebration of Murphy's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
