Oris Lorenzo Harris was born on April 4th 1961 to the union of the late Dolores and William Jones Sr. in Montgomery, Alabama. His family relocated to Gulfport, Mississippi and finally took roots in Baytown, Texas in 1974, when he was thirteen.

Lorenzo had a smile that was contagious. Even when he was "working your nerves" all you could do was shake your head and smile on the inside. He had a spirit of sweetness that could not be denied.

He is preceded in death by his wife Yolanda Jackson-Harris, brothers: Harold Brown and Walter Jones and sisters: Felicia Brown and Yolanda Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Tiara Harris, Oris Harris Jr, Rodney Gregory and Destiny Anderson; Sister: Donna Battle (Clinton); Brothers: William Jones Jr.(Gwendolyn), Harold Jones(Rose), Ervin Jones, Roland Jones(Gwenetta), and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
