Pearle Mae Smith was born April 28, 1944, in Big Cane, Louisiana to the late Rochine Johnson and Lester Antoine.  She departed this life on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Pearlie leaves to mourn: her goddaughters, Angelia Victorian (Paul) of Oakley, California and A'niyah of Beaumont. Texas; her four sisters and two brothers: Lois Harris (Tivis) of Baytwon, Texas , Sarah (Louise) Hill of Stockton, California, Rilla (Black) Green of Baytown, Texas, Bertha Sowells of Crosby, Texas, Leroy Johnson of Baytown, Texas and Leon Johnson of Baytown, Texas.  Brother-in-law, Joe LaCour, Sr., a special family friend, Ellis Heath, her best friend, Lorraine David and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
