RICHARD LEWIS ARLINE , 73 passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 in Baytown, Texas.
Richard was born in Highlands, Texas to the late Roosevelt Lee Arline and Louise (Elliott) Arline on July 10, 1947. He grew up in Baytown, Texas where he attended George Washington Carver High in which he was a member of the band and played the trumpet.
In December 1973, he began working for ARCO; Lyondell-Citgo Refining now Lyondell Basell refinement in Pasadena, Texas. He first worked in maintenance then advanced to operator in which he was a Senior Operator before the department closed. He continued to work as an Assistant Operator until his retirement in 1999.
After his retirement from Lyondell-Citgo, he began his own print shop. He established and ran The Arline Print Shop from 2000-2004.
Richard was a long-time faithful member and Deacon at Greater St. John Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas for over 20 years.
Deacon Arline is preceded in death by his parents; sisters- Inell (Arline) Hunter and Vanessa Arline; brothers- Roosevelt Jr. and Leroy Arline; and aunt- Emma (Barrett) Scott.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife- Theresa (Henderson) Arline; sister- Dwyna (Travis) Williams of Houston, Texas. Daughters- Geanett (Arline) Feaster and husband Jon of Friendswood, Texas; Terra (Arline) Williams and husband Delando Sr. of Hockley, Texas; Tonya (Arline) Jackson and husband Eric of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Step children- Joycelynn (Flowers) Ashton and husband Richard of Houston, Texas; Larry Swann of Houston, Texas and Laurel Swann of Houston, Texas.
Grandchildren- Jalen Jackson, Eboni Williams, Gavin Jackson, Essence Williams, Ethan Jackson, Madison Feaster, Harper Ashton, Delando Williams Jr. and Kiersten Jackson. Nephew- Eric Travis and wife Bianca of Houston, Texas. Also, his Godchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Masks are required at all services.
