Ronald was born to William and Katherine Brown on January 21, 1945.
Ronald Allen Brown was the youngest of five children (two brothers, two sisters). Ronald graduated from Canby High School in Oregon. He attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and received a Bachelor of Theology degree. He moved to southeast Texas to continue his religious studies. He served in churches as Sunday school teacher, youth minister, and song leader. In 1976 he joined with family members to establish a church in Baytown, Texas. Other ministry opportunities included recording an album, going on a church mission trip to India, and teaching a men's Bible study group.
On February 19, 1977, he married Kay, the "girl next door" in his apartment complex. They had three children: Ronelle (1978), Aaron (1980), and Bryon (1987). After retiring from a business career in sales, he began a street ministry and became a prison chaplain.
Ronald is survived by his wife Kay to whom he was married for 45 years, his two sons Aaron and Bryon, his daughter Ronelle and her husband Aaron Burdick, his two grandchildren Katy and Eli, his brothers Gayland and Morris, his sisters Carolyn and Janice, sisters-in-law Lynda, Janice, Cindy, Barbara, brother-in-law Tom, and other extended family members including nieces and nephews.
