Rose Marie Renty, 84, of Baytown, Texas passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025 at Baytown Methodist Hospital.

Born on July 1, 1941 in the community of McNair, a part of Baytown, Texas to Manuel Renty and Naomi (Reese) Renty, Rose lived a quiet life marked by devotion and dedication to the care of her parents in the family home. She went to George Washington Carver High School. After the passing of her parents, she dedicated a number of years as an attendant in the field of physical rehabilitation.

Rose will be remembered for her unforgettable straight forwardness, infectious laugh, and warm embrace. She was known for exceptional baking and down-home southern cooking. She enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and greeting neighbors when the weather permitted.  She will be missed.

She is survived by her siblings; Floyd (Jesse), Joseph and Charles (Virgie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Naomi, her siblings Coleman (Isabelle) and Geraldine.
