Tanya Gail Gordon (lovingly known as "Pep" to Family and many friends) was born in Pasadena, Texas on July 28, 1959. She was the proud daughter of Siamon and Helen Gordon, long-time residents of LaPorte, Texas. After facing several life challenges, Tanya recommitted her life to her family and Christ; and joined her parents and siblings as a steadfast member of St. Mark United Methodist Church of LaPorte.

Tanya attended schools in the LaPorte Independent School District and was a member of the 1977 LaPorte High School graduating class, also attended San Jacinto Jr. College. She worked various jobs throughout her life and embraced an entrepreneurial spirit.

Tanya was preceded in death by her Mother, Helen Gordon, and her son - Roddie Anderson.

She is survived by two sons Dartanyon and Melvin, her father, Siamon Gordon; her sister - Constance Kanaway Gordon; her brothers – Roy Lee Howard, James Dwight Gordon, Benny Gordon, and Thomas "Red" Gordon, 16 grandkids, 5 great-grandkids, along with numerous nieces and nephews that loved to 'hang-out' with Auntie Pep.

The full day of viewing will be sensitive to COVID-19 health concerns. Masks are required .
