With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa Verona Simon, better known as Ma Paul on 04/22/2020.  She was born and raised in Choiseul, formerly of Bois Patat, Morne Du Don.  At the time of her passing, she lived in Baytown, TX.

She was a vendor of the Castries Market for 40 years.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, Piere Paul Simon, five children: Linus Simon, Victoria Frances Simon, Eldon Philip Simon, Michael Simon and Ingrid Simon, her son in law Desmond Prosper Louis, three grandsons and one great grandson.

She is survived by eight children, Irenie Alicia Louis, Stephen Simon (better know as Cardinal), Fedelia Celia Simon, Celestine Una Alexander, Theophilus Simon, Callista Cecilia Simon (also her caregiver), Chelcher James Simon, Kenneth Simon, two sisters: Mary Cool, Eulalie Tyson, thirty one grandchildren (including Earl Junior Louis, thirty five great grandchildren, nineteen great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
